Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology in 2006 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008, both from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. After graduating, she worked as a pediatric physical therapist in the Dubuque area for 4 years. She has been with Medical Associates Clinic since 2012.

Amanda earned her Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency from Emory University in 2018 and is a member of the Vestibular Education Disorders Association. She is certified in the Astym method for soft tissue mobilization and is also an advanced credentialed clinical instructor through the APTA. Other areas of continuing education focus include functional dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy (BFR), various pediatric physical therapy topics, concussion rehabilitation, and kinesio taping.

Amanda was born and raised in Dubuque. She still lives in this area with her husband and three children. Her interests include traveling, attending her kids' sporting events and staying active herself through various fitness programs.

"She was very thorough in conducting tests. Unfortunately, since I was having no symptoms, she could not see anything. I was thankful she explained just what was causing the problems. She encouraged me to call her office first thing in the morning the next time I have problems. She said she would try to get me in the same day so as to catch the problems in action, whereupon she could work out a course of action. I cannot tell you how comforting that is. She was professional and did not talk down to me despite her extensive knowledge and my total ignorance of the problem. She is a valuable member of your staff."

"The provider failed introduced the student that was accompanying her. She basically treated him as though he was invisible. Having been an educator for many years who supervised interns. This was important oversight on her part."

"I have to say our session was a bit confusing on the "feeling" level. Ms. Kass seemed annoyed...with us? with something personal? There was no eye contact and no response to any humor. I felt we were wasting her time. I am a caregiver for my husband who was receiving PT for falling issues. He has advanced dementia and I am trying to keep him at home. We did receive exercises and a cursory lesson using the rollator. I was hoping for more direction in helping him navigate inclines, but was told none was available."

"It seems like PT has become a money grab. I can use google and get the same exercises. Dr. Scott talked about L5/S1 as being the problem area but PT stated no we are treating your whole back. I guess reading the report from the MRI was not part of my care for the PT people."
