This is [REDACTED] and this is the first time I had Dr. Keppler but really from my left toe he really went a little bit deep on that and he cleaned it off and put a band-aid on it but it had been sore all week. He said to remind him not to go so hard on it the next time and I said, "Oh, definitely that foot really made it hurt." and it did bleed and it gave me quite a bit of pain for a couple of days. So hopefully he'll be much more careful with that left toe. He was very friendly and very nice about it but I just don't think he realized how touchy and delicate that toe is. So thanks"

It seemed like, was reading my file as he was giving the prognosis and reading it straight from the MRI report I think he was a good provider, and knows what he's talking about, but he seemed unprepared a little and because I had the VA the brace they wanted to give me they said they couldn't so I'm still without a brace"

When I did so today, the nurse looked down at her nametag which was backwards and made some remark to that effect, as if it was somehow supposed to be possible for me to get her name from her badge that hung at her waste as she called me at the waiting room door, then turned her back to me and said, "follow me." Is this a Dubuque thing? I have noticed it at every medical center or dentist office since I moved here last year."

"I'm actually glad I was put to have this survey. At my appointment with Dr. Kepler, I had to point out to him that I didn't know if it was a injury on my foot from psoriasis or from calluses, and I had to tell him that the two were running together, and he really just seemed in a hurry, almost to the point like these toe clippings and callus clippings are just like taking the dog out for a walk. He was just in and out. I have psoriasis on my feet, and I have problems with my feet, but he didn't want to talk about that. I'll continue to go to Medical Associates, and I'll probably just ask for a different doctor from now on. Thank you."

I see a number of doctors and medical Associates and it is a waste of time to fill in my insurance information for every doctor when it's the same as it was a week before, a month before etc. It is unfortunate that the firm you used to prepare the Internet check-in did not consider that a patient might see more than one Dr. and that the persons insurance information wasn't changing on a weekly basis. It would save a lot of time if the check-in program asked: "Has your insurance information changed since the last time you visited our clinic?""

"I had a consult with Dr Keppler, he answered my questions and advised me to go to Browns shoes and get shoes and to get a pair of orthotics-he said to order those online. I went to Browns and got shoes. I then went online for the inserts-there are a lot of variations so I used patient station and asked which kind would be best for me and my foot. The nurse responded-go to Browns Shoes. I told her all of the above and she again said-go to Browns shoes. I work in healthcare and know the cost of a consultation and feel the very least, she could have looked and given me a answer. Why didn't I just consult with Browns Shoes and be done with the consult appt. I was not happy with this nurses responses to my valid questions."
