"This was a VERY pleasant experience! The nurse who checked me in was super great, she introduced herself and listened to my concerns. Then Jessica, the Dermatologist, came in and also introduced herself and answered all of my questions along with looking at not only the skin issue I was most concerned about, but also the other areas on my skin that I had questions regarding. She was very patient and very knowledgeable. Thankfully there were no skin areas that were needing to be monitored and Jessica had no concerns. She really made me feel at ease regarding the areas I had questions about."

"It took 2 months to be scheduled an appointment. I expressed to the Receptionist that I was very concerned with the skin lesion and could I be seen sooner. They were empathetic, but unfortunately still had to schedule 2 months out. After 1 month I had to reschedule and once again, my appointment was scheduled for one month later. I asked if there was a cancellation list and they said yes and put me on it. I was able to be seen 3 weeks after being placed on the list, so approx 6 weeks after my initial call. My results were positive for skin cancer. I think it would have been beneficial to have been told during my initial call that there was a cancellation list. Most likely, it could have expedited my exam especially when I have been a regular patient of the clinician. Thank you."

"When I called for my appointment, I had already seen one dermatologist to assess having a growth removed. When I called to make an appointment, the administrative staff that took my call gave me the option of taking a different doctor for a sooner appointment, but the administrative staff on the phone must not have known that seeing a different doctor would have the new doctor making her own assessment, which could have resulted in a completely different assessment. Not sure how the person taking the appointments does not know the problem with switching doctors when taking appointments. The (nurses aid?) that received me in and the doctor listened to my concerns and were incredibly empathetic. In the end I left with having what I needed done but am surprised this could have resulted in an incredible waste of time and money due to confusion form the person taking the appointments."
