Considering how difficult it is to get an appointment (I had to call literally several months ahead), I was hoping to have my skin checked also. But overall I was pleased with the experience. "My entire experience at this facility was excellent and I let the staff know that . Everything happened in a timely manner without the doctor or any staff projecting a feel of rushing at any point. The place exudes welcome, concern and personal caring from staff. This is in such contrast with my experience at the medical practice that coordinated my health care in the Chicago suburban area for years prior to my move here less than a year ago. The physicians had too heavy a patient workload, spent nearly all their time at the computer updating records or were running in and out to check concurrently operating EKGs during an appointment. They were exhausted, Nearly my entire team of health care professionals in their 30s and 40s left the longstanding practice in 2022-23, the last academic year that I lived in Chicago. The doctors were kind and knowledgeable but were caught in the system of care that had offices and multiple hospital sites within an hour's drive of each other in different suburbs. No staff either clerical or medical ever smiled except two specialists in their 30s and 40s with whom I became friends over the years; both of them let me know well in advance that they were quitting the practice and shared their contact information at their new positions... that were further away, of course, as for x amount of time they could not be part of a practice within 30 or 40 miles of this practice that they were leaving. My excellent internist who was totallhg patient-centered long term and probably was in her early 60s was exhausted, swamped with her patient load and would not have the energy or age in her favor to start over at a new practice. From the moment I walked into your facility last week and to your area, it spoke welcome and care and punctuality and calm. There was space to do one's job and at the same time be attentive to each person who arrived for care/service. I have had a similar experience of helpfulness and care by employees at the East campus as well; but the volume of persons with multiand health conditions of persons being seen in that facility at any given time makes a greater demand on the time, energy and presence of frontline staff/receptionists, etc. who do their absolute best to welcome efficiently a higher volume of patients with mobility issues and other multiple concerns that accompany seniors who arrive for care along with their careproviders who accompany them. There clearly is a Christlike focus and presence of staff to each individual who presents himself or herself for assistance. It is a joy to anticipate visits to both campuses as needed.
