I was surprised to hear that the pharmacy closed at 6:00. I had bladder infection and had to get a script. I got there just before they closed and did not leave until 6:38 pm. Felt bad for holding them up, there was an issue w/ my prescription. I also would have been upset if I went up to pick up my script and no one was there. I was in a lot of pain. I would have had to have the script transferred to HyVee if they would have been closed when I got up there. Otherwise, great visit, I appreciated all of them who helped me. (Lab was also very quick.)"

"Just a suggestion, the first person at the reception desk could find a kinder, gentler way to tell incoming patients that she/he will call on people to come up to the sign in counter in the order in which they come into the clinic. She was gruff and unwelcoming."

"I was SO pleased by the short wait time. The person who checked me in was really friendly, and my pleasant experience was continued into the exam room. My diagnosis essentially ended up being "ear wax build up". The nurse and NP's casual and friendly demeanor helped me to not feel silly for needing my ears cleaned out. They assisted with kindness and patience, and simply, were just nice people to be around. I'm usually pretty nervous in medical settings, no matter the reason for my visit, but I was fully at ease while under their care. Kind, caring, and got to the root of feeling sick-and then when our pharmacy was closed due to the holiday, they made sure they found a pharmacy open for my antibiotic. We used to go to other urgent cares, but Medical Associates is by far the best in the business and I'm so thankful we are able to be patients of Medical Associates not only for acute/urgent care, but also pediatrics, ENT, and general care. "The doctor was kind, informative, and truly listened- read between the lines even. She apologized for the wait but it was honestly a very standard wait. Nothing concerning. My 4yo had a 3 day fever and a longer running cough, daycare said strep was going around. He was negative for strep. She looked for an answer! And when she found an ear infection that could explain the fever, but not cough, asked if we wanted testing to be sure the cough wasn't something more serious. My 4 yo spends time with my 8 month old neice, so we wanted to be sure we weren't endangering her with rsv, covid, etc. She put our fears to rest and let our sitter and my sister feel confident in his diagnosis. Truly, what a great provider. She was never dismissive. I would choose her to care for me and my family, day in and day out."

"I waited in the exam room for over 45 minutes before being seen by the doctor. At one point I walked out into the hallway and found a nurse to verify that I hadn't been forgotten or skipped over. She assured me that I wasn't and informed me that they were pretty busy. A suggestion might be to have someone visit the exam room to provide an update at the 30-minute wait mark. Not disappointed but rather just a helpful suggestion to improve the experience/service. I get it, updating a patient is probably not high priority when providing others care. It's just a suggestion. I appreciate all you do to provide high quality healthcare to the tri-state area. So please don't take my suggestion as any more than that...a suggestion. The nurse and doctor were awesome and that's what's really important! Thank you!"

I had to call on Monday afternoon and they didn't get back to me until Tuesday. Since x-rays were taken at Acute Care they wanted to have another reading to make certain of the diagnosis and subsequent care was correct to optimize recovery from the injury."
