However, the provider stated during the visit that they no longer have a hand specialist and make referrals to PCI in Cedar Rapids for care. My opinion was this was a waste of my time and charge to my health insurance. You should make it clear upon making an appointment that this diagnosis is referred elsewhere."

"I understand from my PCP, that Ortho requires xrays PRIOR to a doctor visit. In my case, I had a soft tissue issue where xrays add no value, yet I still PAY for them. You should order imaging when imaging is clearly needed and not implement a blanket order that all visits must be preceded by xrays. Doing so costs me out of pocket money to be sure. You should consider the direct economic impacts to your patients rather that what appears to be a convenience factor for Ortho. Not everyone's insurance plan pay 100% of services rendered!"

"The nurse put the wrong diagnosis on my paperwork. I now have to call and make sure to get it corrected. Mr schulz informed me I have bursitis in my shoulder and tendinitis in my elbow and recommended PT. However the nurse documented on my PT paperwork I have a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder."

"The wait to see Jason was long. Partly because the shot was given by another provider, anf it did not work at all. There is a wait period before I can have another shot. I had a trip coming up and had a narrow window between when I could see Jason and beon a planez. I begged to see him. I could not get in. The trip was not a good one as I was limping and in pain. When I returned and was able to see Jason,he was compassionate. I suspect that the doctor who did the work instead of Jason did not do it correctly procedure wise or medication wise. I had the shot from Jason on Monday and am already improving."
