"Acute care is generally a great option because same day appointments with anyone are almost never an option- but also extremely frustrating to have the wait times when all I needed was for a licensed professional to look inside my ears. It seems there should be a "fast track" option for a much lower price to have a provider spend less than 2 minutes with me to diagnose ear or sinus infection."

"I've always had very good treatment at the Medical Associates in Cuba City. Most the time I had the same in Platteville with the exception of one experience."

"The staff was great. I was disappointed that I had called the help nurse Thursday night to see if I could get into Peds on Friday. I was told they were closed but acute was open 8-12. When I checked into acute care I saw peds was however open and I would have preferred to go there. Nothing against the staff at acute care as the nurse was so sweet, friendly, and through. And, Dr Hiatt did a good job with my little and was quick. I was disappointed he wrote in his note I was to have a follow up but never told me. The nurse from peds called today stating I never called to schedule the follow up. But, I knew nothing about needing a follow up. I have never had to follow up before post ear infections. I was also disappointed in the pharmacy. I called to see when the meds would be ready. I arrived in the allotted time and they didn't have them ready as they didn't know my child's weight. No other pharmacy has had issues with that before and the weight is logged from his visit. It wasnt a big deal for me. But, I feel this is a huge error waiting to happen if parents are unsure of weights."

"My comments are directly connected to Dr. Hiatt. Nice person, all of that, but didn't really thoroughly ask the questions or evaluate me. I felt like I evaluated myself more. And the most frustrating part is once we decided to do a swab test he said, you know, we'll call you, you know can't give you exact time, but we'll call you in the next 2 hours. Got prescription, forgot to send a prescription up. I waited in the waiting room for 37 minutes because they didn't send it up whether him or someone else and never got a phone call on my covid results. I had to go to Patient Station later on that night to confirm that I had covid. Just didn't really offer me any help. The antiviral thing came up but yet, didn't offer it to me and I don't know. I just ... I would ... I wasn't impressed and I would not go back."

"What made this experience so frustrating, did not occur so much with the dr, but when I went to X-ray and then when I went to get my prescription!! I intended to call yesterday, because it is too complicated to type and not enough letters. I waited 45 minutes for an X-ray and it was not busy at all! Whoever was supposed to check me in when I landed at the radiology/ lab check in at 4:45, was far more interested in clinic drama and going home then making sure a sick person got a timely chest X-ray. Then there was a big snafu with my prescription being sent to the correct pharmacy!"
