"Grateful provider could see me as had pink eye & in extreme pain. I was exposed to patient's with covid & tested myself twice before my appointment. I was negative for covid, but continued to wear my mask as had cold symptoms. Provider asked me to keep my mask on, and I did so to prevent provider from getting my illness. When provider touched mucous membranes of my eyes with his bare fingers, I asked him to please glove up. Provider did not like that I asked him to put gloves on for infection control & told me he disagreed. Provider did put gloves on per my request. I am a BSN nurse. Personal protective equipment is common knowledge, and routinely used in healthcare to protect the patient & healthcare provider. I felt belittled by provider over his arrogant bedside manner. Provider was very knowledgeable at his job & did excellent job to provide treatment for pinkeye. But provider definitely could work on his bedside manner with the patient & be more tactful."

"I had cataract surgery, done by [REDACTED] on March 25. I paid [REDACTED] because I wanted the best for my eyes. I have been very disappointed in the outcome. My eyes seems to be worse then before having the surgery, the eye that had no surgery is better. [REDACTED] said it was taking a long time after seeing him again on April 15 and April 25. he then asked if I wanted a 2nd opinion. I then had an app. with Dr. Bowman. I have another app. with him June 18. They just keep telling me to give it time. I see no improvement and am getting very frustrated. I talked to several people who had it done for free and had great results. At this point I would not even consider having the other eye done. I can't tell you how frustrated I am after spending all that money for this result."

I was having issues with my vision in my left eye so walked across the building to Ophthalmology to see if they would put me on a cancellation list. I haven't been a patient in 6 years with Ophthalmology. I told the receptionist my concerns and she got a nurse immediately. She took me back and did a simple test. Said it appeared serious and scheduled me with Dr. Baumann 2 hours later. Dr. Baumann was incredible. Kept me informed and calm. Explained the seriousness of my issue and made an appointment for me with the Retina specialist next week and also contacted this specialist to get an immediate opinion when he is in on Monday. I could not have been more thankful for the care of Dr. Baumann and his team. I am switching my care to him. Thank you."

Then she told me to wait for the technician to come in to test my eyes for the strength of the lens that I needed. And that person never came in for over a half hour. I was just sitting there waiting, not even drops put in yet for dilation. So I felt like that was a way too long wait. Otherwise, the visit was very good."
