Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology in 2006 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008, both from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. After graduating, she worked as a pediatric physical therapist in the Dubuque area for 4 years. She has been with Medical Associates Clinic since 2012.
Amanda earned her Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency from Emory University in 2018 and is a member of the Vestibular Education Disorders Association. She is certified in the Astym method for soft tissue mobilization and is also an advanced credentialed clinical instructor through the APTA. Other areas of continuing education focus include functional dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy (BFR), various pediatric physical therapy topics, concussion rehabilitation, and kinesio taping.
Amanda was born and raised in Dubuque. She still lives in this area with her husband and three children. Her interests include traveling, attending her kids' sporting events and staying active herself through various fitness programs.
