"This was my first encounter w/this provider; she is not my chosen/regular provider. I was grateful to be offered an opening w/her the same day I called; Dr. Moore would not have been able to see me for a span of days. Part of my less-than-enamored reaction was likely due to this being a first-time meeting. I had the feeling she assumed to know me well enough through my medical history on the device in front of her. She made little attempt to know more about me and I felt the exchange was rushed. She explored my concern in surface fashion and made arrangements for me to have a neck x-ray. Her time w/me measured less than 5 minutes. From there I went to the X-Ray department. I had a very favorable experience with the x-ray technician, who was personable, sharing information and explaining procedures throughout the three images taken. She invited and responded to my questions, and expressed appreciation when I inquired if she was expecting her first child. (She was obviously pregnant and happily responded that this would be her second child.) This was my first encounter with this health practitioner; she was more "client-centered" than the NP I met with earlier."
