"I was confused by this visit. I was referred by my PCP to Medical Associates. I explained the exact same experiences to Medical Associates as to my PCP and Medical Associates referred me to another doctor's office. I now need to wait for the new doctor's office to call me to make an appointment just like I needed to do for Medical Associates. Based on the information I received today, it may be another eight weeks before I see the new doctor."

"PA was very uncaring and would not listen She only had one thing in her head and that was it... no matter what keep saying well we would have to do this tea and this test.... I have had all the blood work For other possible conditions and they are fine. Only one elevated is one that directed colon! I left medical associates For a reason. Now I certainly remember! Behind times! I am well versed in this area. From family experience and a daughter who daily works with situation! All I want is a colonoscopy! But I can't pay full amount because she won't code for a screening. Only diagnoses...."

"I come in for gastrology to do some testing. They said I couldn't do the testing until later because they're booked up. But I had a lot of stomach pain and then later on she come in and talked about doing a colonoscopy, which I had done before. And they said they checked my stomach the last time I had that colonoscopy. And it's not the problem. The problem is something I'm eating or my stomach. I'm belching and getting too much gas. And it's affecting my life so that if I want to go do something, if I have an upset stomach or something, I can't do it."

"She didn't listen well to me or even hardly ask any questions. Didn't seem to be very caring nor listen to my abdominal sounds about my g.i issues or history of bowel problems or stool history. The department needs a competent M.D on staff instead of a ARNP. I would not go back to her and even maybe a referral to a different person or clinic"

"I was led to believe I was going to have the GI test today. I was told to fast food and liquid after midnight. This test was recommended by my primary doctor. I fail to understand why I had to see this person between primary Dr recommend and surgeon. I feel it was a waste of time for both of us. Delayed test by weeks! Medical field has not advanced in my opinion. The family Dr that delivered me, was only Dr I saw in 22 years. He saw me in office, took my tonsils out, removed my appendix , did all physicals throughout life. Now it takes multiple Dr appointments for one proceedure!"

She was a brand new provider so she did not know my medical history but I did need a procedure that I could not get at Medical Associates because John Deere Premier, my insurance would not cover it which was very disappointing because I just moved my insurance to John Deere Premier so that I could see Shelby and the Medical Associates providers. So now I'm being forced to go back to Finley and my only choice are two doctors that I don't like and that's why I came to Medical Associates. So that's caused a lot of problems setting up procedures and problems with my insurance and just making things super stressful. But otherwise Shelby was great. Thank you."
