"I struggle in general with all the follow up visits. If a medication is needed/changed there's another follow up visit. That just adds to additional medical costs for the patient as well as time taken away from work. I will NEVER understand how out of courtesy a phone call just can't be made to the patient. I ended up saying no to a prescription for anxiety (that I didn't use often) because a six month visit was required to check in. I know what I need for my health and take very good care of myself. I'm not paying $150 for a five minute check in (plus drive time and wait time...missing work) that could have been a 1 minute phone call. This is an issue with the system...not the doctor."

"I feel like you could improve if your providers would not tell patients they are not an 80 year old cancer patient and listen to them about their pain and their conditions and not override it. I felt like I was not listened to like I was looked over like she was just looking at me like I was a number. I know I'm only 30 years old but a 30 year old can have untreatable pain, a 30 year old can have MS, a 30 year old can have ADHD and autism and I felt like the doctor did not listen to that. She did not care and I feel like she didn't take her time. She rushed right through it in the beginning she said we only have so much time so tell me what's important. That's not caring or considerate. I felt the doctor was very rude and very frustrating and I just I don't think it was a good doctor. I think that she needs to learn a little bit more I don't know."

"At the beginning of the visit, I immediately felt as though Larissa was frustrated or annoyed that I was there. She began the visit by saying "I don't even know what I can do for you. Why are you here?" She said things like "I don't even know anything about your habits at this point, I don't know what I can do for you. All providers are trained on weight loss." She started looking at my medications and talking about how I can't be on most of them while I'm pregnant, again in a tone that seemed almost annoyed or exasperated. The overall tone at the beginning of the visit was negative, accusatory, and uncomfortable. As the visit went on, Larissa did ask questions and offer some helpful information. However, at one point when discussing medication and how I wasn't sure it was even an option I'd want to consider, she shared that there are some patients who come in looking specifically for medication (weight loss meds like Ozempic, etc) and that they become angry when she won't give them the meds and they are turning to things like medical spas in town to get medication. She then made a comment about how she didn't understand why those people would go to such lengths for medication, saying "if you're that desperate for the medication, why don't you put in the hard work?" Though I understand her sentiment, it came across as dismissive and judgemental, espeically for a provider who is working with weight loss patients. So though she did listen to me and offer some insight and information on some habit forming, the initial tone of the visit was so negative I will not see her again."

"The provider saw me in a reasonable time frame, and even though she, I guess, but even though she listened to what I had to say, she did not take my previous diagnosis at face value, even though I have the paperwork for that information. And it seemed like she wanted me to be re-evaluated, even though I am symptomatic and even though I already have my evaluation completed, and it felt like this invalidated some of my experience and was not very comfortable. So, thank you."

"It was an establish care, so I wasn't expecting them to know all my medical hx by the first visit. The visit went very smoothly, Larissa explained very thoroughly what the POC was and made sure I was okay with it before moving forward. Also made me feel comfortable with understanding the POC and why she would like to proceed with it. I was asked to schedule another appointment to assess my injury because the appointment ran long, unnecessarily, because she talked for 30 minutes providing me ideas for better nutrition and weight loss that I've already tried. So after coming in with two concerns, I left with a laundry list of things I've already attempted to implement in my life and a request to schedule yet another appointment to address the other thing that is actually causing me daily pain. Feel as though health care is a scam to be seen as many times as possible $$"
