Jennifer Marks, DO, specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She performs and interprets electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS), a specialized diagnostic test to determine the health of nerves and muscle. Dr. Marks also provides non-surgical treatment for adult patients suffering from painful conditions of the spine, nerves, and musculoskeletal system.
She is the Medical Director for the Mercy One inpatient rehabilitation unit, which is CARF accredited.
Dr. Marks is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (FAAPMR). Dr. Marks served as chief resident at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She was an associate medical director of The Miner’s Clinic and clinical instructor for the University of Utah’s PM&R residency program.
Dr. Marks earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. In 2002 she graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Marks completed residency training in 2006, specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
