"I was in there for a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening. I went in stating I could use the restroom and do the urine part of the test first. They stated I didn't need to do that. So she let me go to the restroom. Then later in my appointment stated yes I did need to go a urine test, after I had already went to the restroom. I had to stay another 30minutes to be able to use the restroom. I was not happy, I even asked her when I got called back."

"I stopped into the Platteville clinic today with my 9 mo. old son, who I believed was suffering from an ear infection (his 5th one). I have primary care established at a different hospital and have never felt heard or supported the way I felt when I stopped by today. I was greeted with a smile bright & early at 8am. It only took a few minutes to get us checked in and called back to be seen by the nurse. The nurse was listening intently and took notes. She was gentle with my son as he was over sensitive from being sick & feverish. When she was finished Candy stopped in shortly after. Candy confirmed a double ear infection and explained what she was seeing to me. Having her explain the treatment plan and even share her own children's experiences with ear infections. Since this is his 5th ear infection, Candy scheduled a follow up with us for 2 weeks later to make sure the antibiotics worked. She shared more information about further treatment and gave me her card as well as some extra tips for diaper rash. She truly went above and beyond. The doctor my son sees for his well child checks has not been this involved when explaining the treatment plan with me or educating me in general as a first time parent. My mom heart broke when Candy confirmed his ear infection because I knew he had one deep down in my gut, but he saw his primary physician on Friday and she said he didn't have one (after barely working with my son or checking his ears thoroughly). I wish I would've trusted myself sooner, but I am so grateful I met with Candy today and cannot wait to meet with moving forward."

"I've been seeing this doctor for years. I have never felt more degraded than I did when I went in there on Tuesday in my entire life. She brought up personal aspects about what she read in the paper, asked me things that did not concern, were not her concern, did not have anything to do with why I was there. I was there for a routine check to get back on my antidepressants. She had a student come in the room before she did. I was not even asked for the student to be able to come in the room. Just altogether it was a very unprofessional manner and not impressed and I will be switching primary doctors because of it."

She was severely dehydrated and needed antibiotics. I hate to think what may have happened during the night (last night) had we not been instructed to come in. My mother spent 3.5 hrs in ER today at the urging of Dr Bearse, her personal family physician. Dr Bearse ordered additional testing. She also received TWO ADDITIONAL bags of fluid today. . We can't thank Candy Temperley and Dr Bearse enough for their excellent care & concern for our mother."

I'm in so much pain and shortness of breath, expected better pain management to get healthy enough to return to work. I still have to be mom and take care of household regardless how awful I feel."

"I have never had a Dr treat me with such disrespect, condescending, and uncaring attitude. All she wanted to do was push medication and I had to request and insist on a xray. She clearly did not believe how much pain I was in and clearly didn't believe I was injured. She was short, abrupt and NOT what I have come to expect from Medical associates. NEVER have I EVER been treated like she treated me. Candy would not be my recommendation for ANYONE and I will never accept an appointment with her again. Her nurse was a bit rude and snippy as well but I clearly saw that it's a reflection on her having to work with Candy so I understand where her uncaring attitude came from and don't blame her."

I really appreciated that. They were behind that day, which is very unusual for Candy and her staff. They had a medical emergency and we absolutely understood. I didn't mind waiting because of the dark room they gave us. Once in the room, they treated me quickly and were so quiet and caring.
