Made a couple condescending remarks. Understandable on what he said to me. I had an x-ray done. Said something with my lower back. Found an MRI should have been done. It was not. Just not happy. Again, left with pain, entered with pain, left with pain. Understand need to do some exercises. But just not satisfied at all with the results."

"I did have a reaction to these injections. Severe facial flushing and, oddly, flushing of my right arm from elbow to shoulder. Also, not sure if this is related, but the evening of the injections I had full body sweats and the facial flushing. Facial and arm flushing are still with me today: August 8, 2024. I appreciated Dr. Silvia's candor and humor in dealing with my extreme anxiety about being stuck with sharp, pointy things. I am aware I will need knee replacements and the injections are only a temporary fix, but it is such a relief to be, nearly, pain free and to be able to sleep through the night. My intent is to strengthen the muscles supporting the knee prior to replacement in order to assist with recovery. Also, the nurse was a truly joyful person as well as being efficient. My thanks to both these individuals who were a pleasure to meet."

"I felt like Dr. Silvia had predetermined my diagnosis and treatment before he entered the room. His body language was that of being shut down for conversation and talk about possible options. He sat back with his arms folded and quickly shot down any questions about options without much reasoning or explanation. The only reason we made this appointment was that my primary thought that after looking at X-Rays I might be a good candidate for a cortisone shot to help manage the pain. It became apparent with Dr. Silvia's nurse that the good doctor does not believe in this form of pain management as she referred to a previous doctors appointment that ended with a shot as "Something THAT doctor did on a regular basis". I don't have a problem with Dr. Silvia's believes or style of treatment, just don't waste my time or yours if you have determined that you're not going to be of service before you enter the room. I do not travel well anymore with my MS and Neuropathy and would prefer your being open and honest before you bring me in for an appointment."

"The appointment experience was great. It was the TRYING to get an appointment that was frustrating. I have seen Jason several times for a Cortisone shot for my right knee. I called in early Feb. to request an appointment for same. Receptionist said mid-March. I said that I needed the shot now or at least this week. Nope. She did not offer anyone else, and I assumed that only Jason did this. I said that I was in pain and needed to get in. Nope. March. I was upset and did not make an appointment. I continued to have pain and to have the knee not support me fully sometimes. One of those times I fell off our stoop into a graveled landscape area. Fortunately, or unfortunately, in mid-February, I got Influenza A and required a visit to Dr. Jennifer Mohr who is my attending physician. I told her about this, and she was able to arrange I an appointment with Dr. Silvia in a little over a week. In June or July or whenever I require the next shot, I hope that there is a way that I can call and get an appointment in a reasonable time frame as this is not something that can be scheduled ahead like a mammogram or a blood test. When the knee starts to go out, then I make the appointment or try to. Thanks to Dr. Mohr for facilitating the appointment and to Dr. Silvia for taking care of me. I am walking without pain and am able to climb steps again. [REDACTED]"
