I stayed at the ER till 3:30 AM were they told me to make appointment with medical associates to get more information on what is wrong with spent all day on phone trying to get answers and can't be seen till sept 9 well I will not wait that long to be seen so I will be going back to ER tomorrow. I would of thought that me being admitted to the ER the previous night I would of had better luck meeting a physician the next day."

"After the initial waiting period to be seen, I was told the X-ray and followup would be much quicker. However that was far from true. It took an additional 90 minutes to be en again and the X-ray had still not been read. Which necessitated a follow up phone call."

"I feel the PA who had seen my husband and I didn't listen to us at all about our systems. It was basically she wanted us to spend a lot of money on test and if we didn't, which we declined they wouldn't prescribe a prescription, and they didn't. The test are very expensive as we did them a month ago. I think a Z pack or something for the symptoms we did speak of and I had draining from my ears of what she could see, would have helped. We were basically dismissed."

The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns and then treated me accordingly. After the weekend I was having additional problems/questions and called to talk with a nurse. They were able to help me and explain what the next steps would entail! Great experience! I will be back next time I'm in need!"

"When I came into acute care there was a person (registering her child) from out of town. I stood for 15 minutes waiting to register and then finally another person said I can register now. I realize it takes forever when somebody is out of town and the computer seems so slow... I felt like somebody should have picked up other registrations earlier. She might work for a different department but the departments need to cover for each other when a registration is taking that long"

"I was seen by a PA. not helpful. I told her what I needed. i had an upper respiratory infection and also have asthma. I asked for an antibiotic and steroid and eye drops for the eye infection. Wouldn't listen to me. said she couldn't care because the "chest" issue could have been a "heart" issue. so referred me to ER. waste of 3 hours of my life. I walked out of ER after all the tests with exactly what I asked Acute Care for. not good service. please listen to your patients or ask a doctor to come see them. I get she was trying to be conservative, but won't go back to Acute care, will use virtual doc in the future."

Which my primary doctor found out what I had in 5 minutes of seeing me gave me my medicine and was on my way"

"Yes, one thing that could be improved is the check-in process. There is no, it's all in the open. It's not very confidential when you're giving your name, number, and everything. And the other thing is, I was in there two minutes to eight, and they wouldn't let me check in. There was a line, and people went out of turns. They were there after me, and they went before me, and a couple of other people. There should be a number or something when you come in before eight o'clock. Thank you."

"Had me sit in a room for an hour and ten minutes and no one even checked on me. I thought that they forgot about me until I walked out of the room to ask how much longer until I will be seen. I know it was a new doctor, but that was just ridiculous. Then when I asked the nurse said she is just finishing up charting and she will be in. It was still another 10 minutes before the doctor came in. I would rather have sat out in the waiting room longer then sitting in an exam room being forgotten about"

"I went for an emergency situation that they did not want to address. I had knee replacement surgery 5 weeks before, fell and tore the incision open. They did not treat me but recommended that I go back to the hospital where I had the surgery (in Platteville)."
