"I had waited 4 months to be seen by Dr. Freiburger as a new patient. His nurse was wonderful, asked many questions, she listened to and noted my concerns. I do not feel that Dr. Freiburger read thoroughly what I had told his nurse. The appointment ended abruptly, with a number of my concerns unaddressed, and his nurse had to find me as I left to give me information about a prescription that SHE had mentioned to me. I had not been seen by a physician in almost a year and left the appointment with more questions than before I'd seen him. I now have an appointment with an ARNP and hope to have a more attentive and informative experience."

So we went to Mercy One to have it done in 3 HOURS and get results and treatment within 30 minutes of completion. THANK goodness for Mercy. "I was extremely ill and called to talk to Dr. FREIBURGER'S nurse. She got me in to see the doctor THAT SAME DAY!! How cool is that? When I got there, the registration people were very courteous and got me right over to the waiting room. When in the examination room, the nurse was so nice. She did not treat me like any ole patient, complaining about yet another apparent case of the flu. She seemed, no, I feel she actually was, very concerned about how miserable I felt and wanted to do whatever she could to help me. Then, there is the AWESOME Dr. Freiburger himself. He has been my PCP for like 12 yrs. He knows about all my medical owies and medication I currently take. He also did NOT treat me like every other patient. He gave me a through (spelt right?) exam. Then asked me just what I was feeling. That is one thing I have ALWAYS been thankful for. He has always been concerned about how I felt and wanted me to explain just how I felt. He would look right at me and listened closely. He would ask questions about things I said, which proves how intently he listened. That is a fantastic sign of a doctor one would not hesitate to put their own life in their hands. After the exam and listening to me, he started discussing possibilities. He took a swab to send off to the lab. He advised me to keep my phone on and kept close because I would be hearing from him about what the diagnosis was and what he planned on to do about it. At one point he said: "Let's face it. You are not a normal egg." This, not only being funny, showed just how much he knows and remembered about my many medical owies. I knew then, and have known for many years, that he knew quite well about my many medical owies and would always take them, and the many numerous medications I take, into consideration BEFORE he takes any actions. I realize this is getting rather long. I firmly believe we are always willing to nail individuals for poor service. So, it is only fair to give praise for good service. I will end this by editing my previous sentence. "So, it is only fair to give praise for EXCELLENT service." Doctor Freiburger and his nurse are both incredible assets for Medical Associates.
