Megan attended St. Ambrose University for both undergraduate and graduate school, earning her Bachelor‘s degree in Exercise Science in 2014 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015. She completed a one-year orthopedic residency program in the Quad Cities with St. Ambrose and Rock Valley Physical Therapy. Megan continued to work in the Quad Cities for 5 years prior to moving back to her hometown of Dubuque. She joined Medical Associates in 2020. Megan is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Certified Manual Therapist
Megan has taken several classes for treatment of chronic and complex pain and has published research in Journal of Physiotherapy Pain Association. She is also a credentialed Clinical Instructor. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses but especially enjoys working with athletes as she was a college soccer player at St. Ambrose University. She has 5 years of experience in aquatic therapy and is trained in functional dry needling as well.
She lives locally in Dubuque with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on the river with family and staying active with running and weightlifting.
