"I don't think the doctor was quite informative enough. I hadn't ever heard of peripheral artery disease before, didn't know I had it, didn't know what to do with it. He did explain that we would try medicine and then if that didn't work well enough, we'd try balloons. I guess I need more information about what the medicine does and what the balloons do and what the side effects are and stuff like that. Thank you."

"I showed him my concerns and it just got brushed aside as normal, even though I was told by another dr that I should bring it up as it showed signs of an unhealthy heart. I was trying to find out if I would be able to swim with my heart jumping all around. He just said why not. I felt he was just rushing from one patient to the next and didn't have time to really access the situation. More drs are needed in this department as I couldn't even get a follow-up appointment for a year from now. Had to go out 13 plus months."
