"I had given up on the field of dermatology after years of not being listened to, Dr. Fitz restored my hope in just one visit."

"I had a lesion on my back that went through some changes that were very concerning. I tried to get into derm from May until finally getting an appointment in surgery (for removal) at the end of July . Derm had NO OPENINGS-zero. I do not think this is appropriate and does not reflect adequate care to your patients. A 4 month wait for a concerning lesion is not acceptable. Luckily in my case it was benign. If however, this was indeed melanoma, or if I was not able to advocate for myself & seek an appointment in the surgery department , this could have been tragic with delay of treatment. You need to do better. If you don't have enough providers to see patients in a timely manner, then stop recruiting more patients."

I was beginning to think they had forgotten about me and when someone's going to be a half hour late I think they should notify you sooner. my time is important to, and they should've told me when I went in that she was running late and they didn't also nobody ever informed me that you needed a cell phone number in order to get the reminder call. I missed the first appointment because I never got a reminder call, I straighten that out yesterday after I gave them my cell phone number and found out that was what the problem was . I think you need to inform your patient first time why you need certain numbers and be more thorough when you're checking in for the first time."
