Sean attended Clarke University from 1994 through 1999. He earned his Bachelor's in Human Health Science in 1998 followed by a Master's in Physical therapy in 1999. Over the course of the last 23 years, Sean has worked in various orthopedic and sports medicine settings. He started in Decorah, IA, later moving on to Cedar Falls, IA, where he helped design and open a sports med/ortho facility on campus at the University of Northern Iowa which was housed in the Wellness and Rec Center there. Most recently he was located outside of Houston, Texas, managing a facility for Memorial Hermann Sports Med and Rehab, before relocating back to Dubuque in October of 2021. Sean is a board-certified clinical specialist in Sports Physical Therapy and is also a certified athletic trainer.
Sean specializes in the sports medicine population, but also takes pride in seeing patients of all ages with many different orthopedic conditions. He is certified in dry needling and is working through his medical certification with the Titleist performance institute.
Sean lives locally in Asbury with his daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing with his daughter and staying active.
