"Yes, I had a little problem with insurance in my prescriptions. It seems like the doctor doesn't deal in insurance, of course, and when I call the insurance, they refer me back to the doctor and pharmacies are the same way. So it's very confusing for a patient dealing with insurance coverage for drugs. This is a drug issue that I seem to have my first experience with. That's all. Thank you."

"Seen at MercyOne emergency room on 11/19/23, but no urologist on duty or on call. After scan and lab work were inconclusive, and no urologist available, was told at ER would be seen by Medical Assoc. urology next day. Heard nothing from Urology. After multiple calls to Urology on 11/20 was finally informed could not be seen until 11/28/23. No sense of urgency when dealing with a 100 year old patient, who has gone to Medical Associated forever. On 11/28/23, after having scan done, went to scheduled appointment with PA Beyer. She was more than an hour late for the appointment. No new information or answers were provided from what was known after the ER visit done on 11/19/23. Seems nothing different or additional was done from what took place nine days earlier. Was told to monitor for blood in urine for two weeks and then have CT scan done mid-December. Later on 11/28 another urine sample was ordered and collected at the nursing home. It tested positive for UTI and infection. Put on high dose of antibiotic. Still have not heard if the infection was the source of the blood in the urine. On 12/1/23 still nothing in the patient portal on the lab results from 11/28 or on the medication prescribed. Currently have CT scan scheduled for 12/19/23. Overall - was not a satisfactory experience at Urology on 11/28/23."
