Dr. Trupti Mehta is an obstetrician/gynecologist at Medical Associates Clinic in Dubuque, IA. She received her medical degree from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India, and completed her residency in OB/GYN at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, India, as well as St. Paul - Ramsey Medical Center, St. Paul, MN. She completed a research fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. She has published papers in fertility and sterility and has been published in the Biology of Reproduction – Oxford Academic Journals publication. In addition, Dr. Mehta has presented at the Serono Symposia and the Minnesota State Conference. Dr. Mehta has completed special training in minimally invasive surgeries, including robotic procedures. She was a principal investigator in endometriosis, bone density, and birth control studies at Medical Associates Clinic.
Currently, Dr. Mehta provides specialized care for women including: early pregnancy, including 4D ultrasonography, well-woman care and yearly examinations, birth control counseling and prescribing, treatment of premenstrual syndrome, menopause, treatment of diseases in the reproductive tract, gynecological surgery including robotic minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis treatment, urinary incontinence and pelvic pain, and evaluation and diagnosis of infertility problems and treatment options.
Outside of work, Dr. Mehta enjoys watching movies, reading books, meditating, watching basketball and soccer, and spending quality time with family.
