Pediatric Psychology

Dr. Gould is a doctoral-level Pediatric Psychologists who is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

The Pediatric Psychology Department of Medical Associates Clinic in Dubuque functions as a subdivision of the Department of Pediatric.

Services

The following types of treatment and services are made available by the Pediatric Psychology staff:

  • Individual child counseling, therapy, and intervention
  • Family counseling, therapy, and intervention
  • Consultation
  • Education and training

Formal psychological evaluation and testing, including:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Emotional and psychological problems in children and teens
  • Cognitive and neurocognitive abilities in children and teens
  • Academic skills
  • Possible learning disabilities, including dyslexia, in children, adolescents, and adults

  • Dr. Gould treats children from birth through high school years and young adults.

Referrals

Patients may be referred to the Pediatric Psychology Department by physicians, school, community agency, and/or other mental health professionals. Parents are also welcome to seek treatment for their children on their own.

Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled by calling 563-584-3441 or 800-648-6868. There is a $25 charge for missed appointments or appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.

Fees & Reimbursement

We accept private pay, third party (insurance) reimbursement, or Title 19 patients referred by a Medical Associates provider. Patients are encouraged to check with their insurance company about their coverage for child mental health services.
